A shoplifting complaint at a business in Dunkirk led to a charge against a city man. Dunkirk Police were called to an unnamed business on Lake Shore Drive West at about 9:00 PM on June 3rd on an allegation that a male had stolen merchandise from the store before fleeing the area. Officers located suspect -- later identified as 45-year-old Neil Timmerman -- based on descriptions provided by store staff. Timmerman was charged with petit larceny and was released with an appearance ticket.
