A Jamestown man was taken into custody after he was allegedly found to possess a large quantity of cannabis. Jamestown Police were on patrol in the area of the Washington Street bridge shortly after 4:00 AM Friday, when they saw 50-year-old Scott Moore. Officers say Moore had a known warrant from the City of Jamestown for failing to appear in court. Moore was transported to the Jamestown City Jail on a charge of 3rd-degree criminal possession of cannabis, in addition to his warrant.
