A Jamestown man faces a charge of petit larceny after an investigation into a shoplifting complaint at a store in the city. Jamestown Police responded to the Dollar General on Winsor Street on April 23rd and began searching the area after speaking with store staff. An investigation found that 40-year-old Joseph Snyder allegedly stole $34.45 worth of merchandise from the store. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
