Jamestown Police charged a Lakewood man with multiple counts after seeing him slumped over the wheel of a running vehicle that was parked in the downtown area last month. Officers say they were on scene on April 13th at about 4:45 AM and loudly knocked on the window, waking up 40-year-old Edwin Gibbon IV. Further investigation found that Gibbon had an outstanding bench warrant from Jamestown City Court and a revoked driver's license. He was charged with 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 2nd-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and illegally stopping/standing/parking.
