Two men were charged with possessing narcotics inside the Jamestown City Jail after they were booked on warrants in April. Jamestown Police say 18-year-old Andre Guzda of Ashville was taken into custody on an active warrant on April 12th. He was allegedly found to possess a small quantity of fentanyl and methamphetamine while in the jail. On April 13th, Jamestown Police brought 41-year-old Laval Johnson into the jail on an active probation warrant. He was allegedly found in possession of a small quantity of cocaine. Guzda and Johnson were both charged with 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, in addition to their warrants.
