Two Jamestown residents are facing charges after they were allegedly seen trespassing on railroad property near Jamestown High School Wednesday evening. Jamestown Police officers were conducting a walk beat in the area of Institute Street and East 1st Street shortly after 6:15 PM, checking the property owned by Western New York and Pennsylvania Railroad for trespassers. Officers located 30-year-old Megan Truver and 32-year-old Thoams Mann on that property and took them into custody. While conducting inventory of their property, officers found that the two allegedly possessed a quantity of methamphetamine. Truver and Mann were charged with 3rd-degree criminal trespass and 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and were released with appearance tickets.
