Three people who each had warrants for their arrest were charged with misdemeanor drug possession counts after Jamestown Police found them to allegedly be in possession of methamphetamine during separate incidents on Thursday.
Shortly before 12:15 PM, officers performed a street check on a man identified as 28-year-old Jordan Baca at a location on South Main Street. Baca, who was found to have a confirmed bench warrant for petit larceny, was taken into custody and allegedly found to possess a quantity of meth. In addition to his outstanding warrants, Baca was charged with 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and he was taken to the Jamestown City Jail to be held pending arraignment.
At about 9:30 PM, officers saw 42-year-old Rudy Damonti of Falconer walking on East 2nd Street with prior knowledge that he had an active warrant from Jamestown Police. Damonti was taken into custody without incident and also allegedly found to possess a quantity of meth. He was held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment on a charge of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Approximately 10 minutes after locating Damonti, Jamestown Police saw 39-year-old Jennifer Allen sitting on a bench in the 100 block of North Main Street. Allen, who had a confirmed arrest warrant out of Jamestown City Court, was arrested at that location without incident, and a search of her person and property yielded a quantity of meth. Allen was charged with 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and was processed on her outstanding warrant. She was arraigned in Jamestown City Court and is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail on $8,000 bail.
