A member of the Dunkirk Common Council has stepped down from her position on the Board of Directors of Chautauqua Opportunities, Inc. (COI). In a Facebook post late Tuesday afternoon, COI announced that its board has accepted Natalie Luczkowiak's resignation from its membership. The announcement comes three days after the publication of an Observer article featuring comments she and other city officials made about a homeless person during a Common Council meeting.
