An early morning fire extensively damaged a residence in the Town of Ellery on Tuesday. Fluvanna Fire received mutual aid from several neighboring departments in responding to the fire at the High Acres Mobile Home Park on Dutch Hollow Road shortly after 5:00 AM. The Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team says it could not determine an immediate cause due to the extent of the damage, plus the fact that the residence was unoccupied for an extended period of time.
