The Pine Valley Central School District's junior class recently participated in a group community service project by going to the Western New York Developmental Disabilities Office homes in Perrysburg to help with outdoor spring cleaning. The juniors assisted cleanup at three different group homes. Under the direction of Mrs. Chase, Mrs. Maltbie, and group home staff, the 11th-graders weeded flower beds, raked leaves, transplanted plants, cleaned up yards and patio areas and more. The students also placed rocks they painted around the houses. The WNYDDSO thoughtfully provided awesome purple shirts to the student volunteers.
