Motorists Advised About Upcoming I-86 Closures Near Chautauqua Lake Bridge

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists to expect nightly closures next week along I-86 in the vicinity of the Chautauqua Lake Bridge, as a construction project continues. The following closures will be in effect from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM beginning Monday, September 9th and continuing until Saturday, September 14th:

1. The Exit 10 (Long Point State Park) ramp from I-86 eastbound to Route 430 westbound will be closed. Motorists traveling westbound on Route 430 will be detoured using I-86, Exit 11 (Strunk Road).
2. I-86 westbound will be closed to traffic between Exits 10 and 9. Motorists should follow posted detours.
3. I-86 traffic in both directions will be closed between Exits 9 and 11. Motorists should follow posted detours.
