Trustee says group is interested in locating dispensary in village

Three individuals are interested in locating a cannabis dispensary in the village of Fredonia. That’s according to Trustee Jon Espersen, who chairs the Village Board's Cannabis Advisory Committee. Besides completing the business plan, Espersen says the individuals will also need to look at zoning issues, including the location of the dispensary. Last November, trustees rejected a local law that would have had the village opt out of marijuana sales. Four of the five current trustees were not on the board at the time of the vote.
