Local and state-elected officials are calling on Governor Andrew Cuomo to release all funding that is owed to Chautauqua County. During the county's weekly COVID-19 news conference in Mayville on Friday, County Executive P.J. Goodell says he and and many of his colleagues on Thursday requested the immediate release of CHIPS funding, noting that Cuomo had stated that investing in infrastructure would help restart the state's economy.
