While most of the 75,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus are downstate, area State Senator George Borrello says Lake Shore Hospital, which closed its doors earlier this year, is on the state's "radar screen" should it be needed during the health crisis. Meanwhile, state lawmakers may be preparing to take action on a new budget later today. Borrello says Senate members have seen a couple of bills. Because of the COVID-19 outbreak, Borrello says state lawmakers may have to change the way they vote. He indicated they may have to vote remotely from their offices. A state budget is due on Wednesday.
