Borrello: Lake Shore Hospital Could Reopen Due to COVID-19 Outbreak

The coronavirus outbreak has opened up the possibility of reopening Lake Shore Hospital. State Senator George Borrello met on Tuesday with local officials, including assemblymen Andrew Goodell and Joe Giglio, about opening the facility to house anyone who winds up getting infected with COVID-19, in response to Governor Andrew Cuomo's call for thousands of additional hospital beds statewide.
