Sunday Sports Update
Top: March Madness. The gift that keeps on giving. On Saturday, it was Michigan who got to experience the elation of a last-second victory. With the Wolverines trailing Houston 63-61 with 3.6 seconds to play, they had to go the length of the court. The ball found its way into the hands of Jordan Poole, who hit an off-balance three-pointer to send him and his teammates off the deep end and into the Sweet 16. Bottom: Saturday was a day of highs and lows for the University at Buffalo. The men saw their basketball season end in Boise with a 95-75 loss to Kentucky in the 2nd round of the NCAA's men's tournament. However, in the women's tournament, UB not only upset South Florida; they blew them out by a 102-79 score. The UB women move on to face Florida State on Monday.
