Saturday Sports Update

Top left: Fredonia's Jared Kowalski launches a three-point shot during the 1st quarter of Friday night's high school basketball game against Falconer.  It was Senior Night in Fredonia, and the Billies honored five seniors on their team, including Kowalski.  And he had his best game in a Fredonia uniform; he scored a team-high 11 points and was named WDOE's Player of the Game.  Fredonia won easily 74-30.  Photo by Ron Szot

Bottom right: One of the best golfers in the world entered the weekend tied for the lead at this week's PGA Tour event at one of the most iconic courses in golf.  Dustin Johnson shared the lead at 12-under par with Beau Hossler at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am on the California coast.  Photo by USA Today
