Bills offense not all about the Benjamins...Sabres melt down in the 3rd period...and college basketball returns.  More details from Greg Larson on today's Saturday Sports Update...

Saturday Sports Update

Top left: Sunday will mark the Buffalo Bills debut of wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin, shown here during Friday's practice at New Era Field.  Benjamin, who was acquired two weeks ago in a trade with the Carolina Panthers, is expected to make a big impact on the Bills' lackluster passing game.  However, head coach Sean McDermott said Friday that Buffalo's offense will not fundamentally change; he still sees the Bills as a running team.  Photo from buffalobills.com

Bottom left: The Buffalo Sabres led after one period against the Florida Panthers on Friday, but as has been the case this season, the Sabres continue to find ways to lose.  They allowed the tying goal in the 2nd period, then gave up three 3rd-period goals in a 4-1 loss.  The Sabres play in Montreal tonight.  Photo from NHL.com

Bottom right: College hoops!  As Dick Vitale would say...it's awesome, baby!  Here, Texas A&M's Tyler Davis throws down an alley-oop against West Virginia in one of several games to open the new season on Friday.  Davis had 23 points and 13 rebounds as the 25th-ranked Aggies upset the 11th-ranked Mountaineers 88-65.  Image by ESPN
