A huge shakeup in the Big 10...Sabres fold early in Dallas...and Fredonia State rallies to win hockey home opener.  Greg Larson has more details on today's Sunday Sports Update...

Sunday Sports Update

Top: Saturday on the college gridiron churned out two major surprises in the Big 10.  The biggest was unranked Iowa (left) throttling 6th-ranked Ohio State 55-24.  Also turning heads was 24th-ranked Michigan State (right), handing 7th-ranked Penn State its second straight loss, 27-24 on a stormy day in East Lansing.  Those results will make the conference will open heading down the final stretch of the season.  Photos by USA Today

Bottom left: Evander Kane and the Buffalo Sabres had a long night Saturday in Dallas. The game was decided in the 1st period, as the Stars scored four goals en route to a 5-1 win.  Sabres goalie Robin Lehner was pulled after giving up the fourth goal.  Photo from NHL.com

Bottom right: Victor Tracy handles the puck for Fredonia State during the team's home opener Saturday night at Steele Hall.  The Blue Devils fell behind 3-1 early on, but rallied to come away with a 4-3 victory over Geneseo.  Jimmy Morgan scored two of Fredonia four goals, including the game-winner in the 3rd period.  Photo by the Observer
