Saturday Sports Update

Top: Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott says he has "all the confidence in the world" in starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor, and adds he will get the start in the team's next preseason game against Baltimore.  McDermott made his comment on Friday to clarify a statement he had made regarding the possibility of a change under center.  Taylor completed just 8 out of 18 passes for 53 yards and two interceptions in the Bills' 20-16 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday.  Photo by buffalobills.com

Bottom right: Here's a look at the Badgers at one of their practices in preparation for the 2017 high school football season, which starts in two weeks.  Who are the Badgers?  That's the new nickname for the Fredonia-Westfield-Brocton football team. The new name was announced earlier this week during a meeting of the Westfield Academy and Central School Board.  Photo by the Observer
