Sunday Sports Update

Top: The seven newest members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame delivered their induction speeches in Canton, Ohio on Saturday, and as is often the case, the new enshrinees showed sides of themselves that are not usually seen during their playing careers. Three-time Super Bowl quarterback Kurt Warner (left) says when he was in high school, he never wanted to be a quarterback. Two-time Super Bowl champion Terrell Davis (center) told a story of how he almost never became a football player after his father died. San Diego Chargers all-time leading rusher LaDainian Tomlinson (right) perhaps gave the most rousing speech of the night, calling for unity among all Americans.  Images by azcardinals.com and USA Today

Bottom left: Chase Headley celebrates with Aaron Judge after hitting a tiebreaking solo home run in the top of the 8th inning at Progressive Field on Saturday. Headley's blast broke a 1-1 tie and gave the Yankees a 2-1 victory over the Cleveland Indians. The win maintained a 1 1/2-game lead in the AL Wild Card race for the Yankees, but they are still three games behind the Boston Red Sox in the AL East race.  Photo by Newsday

Bottom right: Usain Bolt (left) congratulates Justin Gatlin (right) after Saturday's 100-meter dash at the World Track and Field Championships in London. Bolt, regarded as the fastest man in the world, got a slow start out of the blocks and finished in third place behind Americans Gatlin and Christian Coleman. It was the final race of the Jamaican's career.  Photo by Sky Sports
