Saturday Sports Update
Top: Buffalo Bills training camp is in full swing at St. John Fisher College! But there was a little bit of a setback late in Friday's practice; head coach Sean McDermott said this morning that defensive tackle Marcell Dareus (left) tweaked his hamstring during practice, and his status for today was questionable. Meanwhile, one player who has been looking good is running back LeSean McCoy (right), who says his main goal this season is not only to get to the playoffs, but also to win a playoff game. Bottom: Masahiro Tanaka has had a rough 2017 season so far for the New York Yankees. But on Friday, the Japanese hurler pitched by far his best game of the season. Tanaka struck out a career-high 14 batters over eight innings as the Yankees beat the Rays 6-1 and took over first place in the American League East. Photo by Newsday
