Donna M. Hanson, 77, of Westfield passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at her home in Westfield. She will be missed by many.
Donna worked for Dr. Herbert Laughlin for over 31 years, and for Chautauqua County Hospice.
She enjoyed cooking for others, doing puzzles, word games, metal detecting, and was a long time avid Bills fan, being one of the original Rich Stadium season ticket holders. She was known affectionately as "Aunt Donna" not only to her nephews and nieces, but countless children of friends and acquaintances.
Donna is survived by her two sons, William "Bill" (Pamela) Hanson of Naples, FL and Randall (Susan) Hanson of Chuluota, FL; three beloved grandchildren, Hannah, Madison and Jacob; two brothers, Paul "Skip" (MaryAnn) Myers of Westfield and Fred (Betty) Myers, Jr. of Westfield; and two sisters, Lois (Bob) Bialaszewski of Silver Creek and Bertha Sue and the late Harold Colvenback of Fredonia. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral will be held on Friday, May 18 at the West Portland Baptist Church, 7081 Route 20, Westfield, NY 14787. Rev. Charlie Robertson will officiate. Burial will be in Portland Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday, May 17 from 5:00-7:00 PM, and from 9:00-11:00 AM on Friday.
