Charles E. Hill, 73, of New Milford, PA passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore, PA after a brief illness. He was born on February 13, 1944 in Salisbury, MD to the late G. Rufus and Miriam A. (Fowler) Hill.
His wife of 45 years, Elizabeth L. (Geritz) Hill, survives. Also surviving are his two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Monica Hill of Clearwater, FL, Jeffrey and Gwen Hill of Philadelphia, PA; daughter, Jennifer Hill and Guy Scott of Great Bend, PA; 10 grandchildren, Christian, Jordan, Callista, Skylynn, Ay'dan, Jeffrey Jr., Cole, Jaycee, David and Destiny Hill.
Charles was a beloved husband, and father, and a very proud grandfather. His life's work was to minister to others. He loved to engineer, build, and tinker with anything electrical. Charles also enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 13 at the "Old" Bridgewater Baptist Church in Montrose, PA, with Pastor Bob Kadlecik officiating. Interment will be in Lynn Cemetery. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at the church.
