Frederick A. Bohn, 69, of Dunkirk died Monday morning, December 4, 2017 at the Gowanda Rehabilitation & Nursing Center following a brief illness. He was born August 3, 1948 in Dunkirk, the son of the late Frederick J. and Betty (Voss) Bohn.
A lifelong Dunkirk resident, Fred had worked at the Resource Center in Dunkirk for more than 40 years.
He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, where he had served as usher and altar server. He also was a member of the Dunkirk Democratic Committee and attended the Adult Day Care Center.
Survivors include one sister, Judith Bohn of Dunkirk; and several cousins. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Bohn.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass, which will be celebrated Saturday, December 9 at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Calling hours will be held Friday, December 8 from 3:00-6:00 PM at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. Burial will be in Willowbrook Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
