Eugene M. Frost, 62, of Creek Road, Forestville died Monday, November 6, 2017 at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo. He was born in Dunkirk on April 8, 1955, the son of the late Roy and Mabel (Butcher) Frost, Sr.
Mr. Frost was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1973. He worked for the late Dr. Clark cleaning horse stalls and trained horses for Roger Newell.
Mr. Frost was an avid football fan.
Survivors include three sisters, Caroline Carwell of Chicago, IL; Harriet Fitzgerald of Cassadaga and Jenny (Jack) Gallaway of Irving; and a brother, Wayne Frost of Forestville. Also surviving are two nieces, Laurie (Richard Austin) Wallace and Casimina (Brink) Doner; and one nephew, Brian Gallaway. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Roy Frost, Jr. and LaVerne Frost.
Private graveside services will be at the convenience of family in Burnham Hollow Cemetery, Town of Arkwright.
The family suggests memorials may be made either to American Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, NY 13790; or to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Avenue, Lakewood, NY 14750.
