Genevieve E. Mleczko, 94, of Dunkirk died Friday evening, September 8, 2017 at Brooks Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Dunkirk on February 17, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Frances Dombrowski.
A resident of this area her entire life, she was a retired production worker for the Dunkirk Ice Cream Company. She was a parishioner of Blessed Mary Angela Parish — St. Hyacinth's Church.
Survivors include one sister, Esther Skrzypek of Dunkirk; along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Mleczko; five brothers, Alexander, Phil, Walter, Eugene and John Dombrowski; and six sisters, Marie Parks, Rose Kaus, Clara Halpainy, Cecelia Cybulski, Gertrude Kordon and Dorothy Pachol.
There will be no visitation. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
