Beverly J. Ludwiszewski, 76, of Dunkirk died Saturday morning, September 9, 2017 at Brooks Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness. She was born July 29, 1941 in Dunkirk, daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy (Morrison) Bremer.
Beverly enjoyed word puzzles and was an animal lover.
She attended Blessed Mary Parish Church of St. Hedwig and was a member of the Kosciuszko Polish Home.
Surviving are her children, Thomas (Amanda) Ludwiszewski, Jr. of Russell, PA and Leslie Ludwiszewski of Dunkirk; her K9 companion, "Sara Sue"; a brother, William "Bill" (Rita) Bremer of Florida; sisters, Barbara Babcock and Jane Bremer, both of Dunkirk; along with several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death, in addition to her parents, is a brother, Clarence Bremer.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call Tuesday, September 12 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street in Dunkirk, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 13 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Webster Road Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Lake Shore Savings Bank or Northwest Savings Bank, c/o Thomas Ludwiszewski, Jr., to help defray of the funeral expenses.
