Mary Ryczko, 90, of Dunkirk died Monday morning, July 10, 2017 at Rosa Coplon Nursing Home in Getzville. She was born February 16, 1927 in Fredonia, the daughter of the late Angelo and Jennie (Sorce) Bresolin.
A lifelong Dunkirk resident, Mrs. Ryczko was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church. She had been employed at the former Ludlum's Variety Store and Ludlum's Old Christmas Warehouse, both in Dunkirk.
Survivors include two sons, James Ryczko and David (Patricia) Ryczko, both of Dunkirk; one daughter, Janice (Daniel) Hartman of Williamsville; one sister, Josephine Vacanti of Fredonia; five grandchildren, Angela Ruhlig, Daniel Hartman, Jr., Karen Winnie, Mary E. Ryczko and Kimberly A. Ryczko; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony C. Ryczko, who died October 13, 1985.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated Thursday, July 13 at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, July 12 from 4:00-7:00 PM at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Resurrection Mausoleum of Holy Trinity Cemetery.
