John A. Williams, Sr. of the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the age of 55 years.
Beloved husband of Angel Williams; father of Naomi John, Garett Seneca, Raymond Cortes, Jonielle Williams, John A. Williams, Jr., Brave Hunter Williams and Vivian Williams; grandfather of Erica, Maxin, Jonas, Asia, Shia, Jaelyn, Saxiya, Creedence, Raymond II, Zuriah, Gabriel, Rayeden, Cuse, Tyonih and John Adlai Williams III; son of Emery Williams, Sr. and CaraLeta M. (Lay) Brooks; brother of Murray Williams, Jordan Williams, the late Emery H. "Big Boy" Williams, Jr., Jaleen Williams and Susanne Williams.
Friends may call Thursday, June 15 and Friday, June 16 at the family residence, 15002 Gordon Garrows Road, Cattarauagus Indian Reservation, where funeral services will be held Saturday, June 17 at 10 a.m.
John was a member of the Turtle Clan, founder of the Peace Givers, loved his kids and community, and was the owner of Native Sons Lacrosse team.
