Dawn E. Phillips, 75, of Fredonia died Saturday morning, March 25, 2017 at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk following a lengthy illness. She was born November 1, 1941 in Silver Creek, the daughter of the late William and Della (Bartholomew) McIntyre.
A lifelong area resident, Dawn was a graduate of Mayville High School, Class of 1959. She had been employed as a licensed practical nurse at Gowanda Nursing Home for 20 years and was a member of the Gowanda Moose Club.
Survivors include one son, Shawn Centner of Sinclairville; one daughter, Kerrin A. (Emerson) Delcamp of Dunkirk; one brother, Wayne (Judy) McIntyre of Ellenton, FL; four grandchildren, Chelsea Centner, Ariana Jaquith, Sierra Delcamp and Rhylind Delcamp; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Phillips.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
