Robert J. Barrett of Cassadaga passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017.
He was the father of Marianne and Kathleen; dear brother of Martin (late Dorothy), Joan (Richard) Dougherty, Lillian (late Donald) Krol, Mary (Edward) Rustowitz, Florence (Charles) Davern, Elizabeth (late Raymond) Klopfle and the late Margaret (late Francis) Nicoll, John (late Vera) and Loretta Barrett; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family will be present to receive friends on Sunday, March 19 from 1:00-5:00 PM and Monday, March 20 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the (Hamburg Chapel) John J. Kaczor Funeral Home Inc., 5453 Southwestern Blvd. (corner of Rogers Rd.), Hamburg (646-5555), where prayers will be said Tuesday, March 21 at 8:45 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 9:30 AM. Interment with full military honors will follow at Lakeside Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Barrett retired from Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda Schools, Past Master of Masonic Lodge #911, member of Buffalo Consistory, U.S. Navy Veteran who served during the Korean War, life member of VFW Harvey D. Morin Post, life member of AMVETS Post #726 in Jamestown, past Commander of Cassadaga American Legion Post #1280, Past County Commander of the 8th District.
