Ronald W. Felle, age 70, of Huntley, IL and former native of Buffalo, passed away under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family on Thursday evening, January 12, 2017 at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL.
Ron was born in Buffalo on March 1, 1946. He was a longtime resident of the Dunkirk area, working as a maintenance supervisor for CPS before being transferred to the main office in 1995. He has previously worked at Great Lakes Printing in Buffalo.
Ron was a proud member of the United States Navy, serving from 1964 to 1965. He was a former member of the Conservation Club and the Moniuszko Club.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Gail (Lus) Felle, whom he married December 27, 1991; daughters, Kim Harvey and Toni (Mike) Goedtel; grandchildren, Brianna, Bryan, Stephen, Daniel, Brittany and Scott; his four great-grandchildren; and his brother, Richard Felle. Ron was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Jr.; and his brother, Ray Felle.
Memorial funeral services with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, January 21 at 3:00 PM from the Morse Funeral Home, 51 Highland Avenue, Brocton. Calling hours will be from 1:00-3:00 PM, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
