The push continues to get area residents and businesses to sign an online petition pushing for Governor Cuomo to back a proposal that would convert the NRG plant in Dunkirk to natural gas. As WDOE News first reported Monday afternoon, Cuomo has received the Energy Highway Task Force's Blueprint. Assemblyman Andy Goodell says the Dunkirk project is mentioned in the report.

There are printed petitions available at a number of locations including Dunkirk City Hall, at several County Offices including the Dunkirk DMV location and here at our Willow Road studios.
