A 64-year-old man was treated by EMS personnel following a one-vehicle accident near Silver Creek on Friday. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to Route 5 near the Dollar General at about 3:45 PM and determined that the unidentified man suffered a medical emergency, lost control of the vehicle, and crashed into multiple road signs. Deputies were assisted by Silver Creek EMS and rescue crews. No charges were filed.
