A Dunkirk man is facing a bevy of charges after he led Jamestown Police on both a vehicle and foot pursuit early this morning. The Jamestown Police Department's K-9 Unit tried to pull over a vehicle that was being driven by 32-year-old Conrad Thomas for having a headlight out on Sprague Street near Front Street. But, Thomas led police on a high-speed chase for a couple of blocks before stopping. Thomas fled the vehicle, leading the K-9 unit on a foot chase. Police say Thomas went into a wooded area, but K-9 Mitchell was able to track down Thomas who was found hiding near some parked cars on Steele Street in some tall grass. Thomas is facing several charges including unlawful fleeing a police officer in the 3rd degree, aggravated unlicensed operator 2nd, and obstructing governmental administration.
