An investigation into a report of possible drug activity in the village of Silver Creek has resulted in charges being placed against three people. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies were called out to 8 Henry Street around 2:30 pm Wednesday and 21-year-old Jorge Ortiz-Reyes of Dunkirk, 27-year-old Dominique Estarfaa of Silver Creek and 24-year-old Mariarsenia Vega of Dunkirk were allegedly found to be in possession of an unspecified quantity of crack cocaine, scales and other drug paraphernalia, as well as an unspecified quantity of marijuana. Ortiz-Reyes has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, criminal possession of a controlled substance 4th, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was arraigned in Hanover Town Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $10,000 cash bail and $20,000 property bond. Estarfaa and Vega were both charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd, and unlawful possession of marijuana. Estarfaa and Vega were released with appearance tickets to return to Silver Creek Village Court at a later date.
