The New York State Police in Jamestown responded to two separate incidents where bodies were located in the western Southern Tier on Saturday. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation received a report around 3:20 pm of an unidentified male body located off Route 20 near Corell Creek in the town of Portland. A motorist traveling on Route 20 located the victim. About two hours later, BCI responded to another report of unidentified male body located off Swanson Hill Road in the town of Randolph in Cattaraugus county. Local residents located the deceased and advised law enforcement. Autopsies have been scheduled in each case to determine the identity of the victims and the cause death in each case. Investigators don't believe there is a connection between the two cases.
