Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies were able to find two men who had gone missing in the area of the Chautauqua Gorge watershed on Saturday. At about 6:15 PM, the Sheriff's Office received a report of a 33-year-old man who had entered the trail system on an ATV near Mount Baldy Road in the Town of Westfield. After not returning for some time, the man had contacted a family member by phone and said the ATV had become disabled, and he became lost while trying to find his way on foot. A family member, identified as a 59-year-old man, then tried to find the lost person on foot, but also became lost. A Sheriff's Office K-9 unit used K-9 Bentley to track down the missing men. After approximately one mile, K-9 Bentley found both men unharmed. Neither one required medical attention, and both were returned home.
