Closing arguments are slated for later today in the trial of a Dunkirk woman who is accused of murdering a city man in July of 2017. Rebecca Ruiz is accused of killing Julian Duman and is facing 2nd degree murder. She took the stand in Chautauqua County Court on Wednesday according to the Observer and the defense rested its case. The trial is expected to resume this morning with a charge conference. Closing statements are expected to follow at 1 pm.
