A 19-year-old Collins man is facing charges after a traffic stop on Route 438 in the town of Collins late Saturday night. Erie County Sheriff's deputies say they stopped Cole Jimerson after observing vehicle and traffic law violations. Further investigation revealed that Jimerson's license had three active suspensions. A search of the Jimerson resulted in the discovery of a quantity of concentrated cannabis. Jimerson has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor count of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and two vehicle and traffic law infractions. Jimerson was later released from the holding center.
