North Tonawanda man accused of taking electronics from Springville store

A North Tonawanda man is accused of taking nearly $1,100 in electronics from the Springville Walmart on Tuesday. Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard reports that the store's loss prevention personnel observed a male leaving the parking lot after not paying for a 60 inch TV and two security camera systems. A Sheriff's deputy stopped a vehicle traveling north on Route 219 that matched the description. Further investigation led to the arrest of 33-year-old Michael Cook on a felony count of grand larceny.
