Parking fines to go up in Dunkirk for the first time in decades

Motorists found to be violating the parking laws in the city of Dunkirk will now have to shell out more money to pay those fines. Dunkirk Common Council members unanimously approved a resolution increasing the parking fines for the first time in nearly two decades. Alternate parking fines will increase to 20-dollars with metered parking fines increasing to 10-dollars.
