Temps reached the 70s across parts of WNY Tuesday

It was a day of record-smashing warmth across Western New York and temperatures reached 70 and above in Chautauqua County. Meteorologist Aaron Reynolds of the National Weather Service Office in Buffalo says the old record high of 64 at the Buffalo Airport on Tuesday was shattered, with 66 degrees being recorded.  He says there were several readings in the 70s...

Reynolds says it reached 71 degrees at the Dunkirk Airport, 70 in Fredonia and 69 in Clymer. A cold front will push through the area this morning, dropping temperatures by nearly 20 degrees in a matter of hours.
