Record High Temperatures Today Across Western New York

Record warmth is being felt across Western New York today. The National Weather Service in Buffalo reports that it reached 66 degrees at the Buffalo Airport, breaking the previous record of 64 set in 1955. Meanwhile, the mercury at the Dunkirk Airport hit 71 degrees just before 1:00 PM. Meteorologist Dan Kelly says the passage of a warm front has brought some of the mildest air to Western New York since October...

But the roller coaster weather will continue, with temperatures returning to near 50 by Friday. Kelly says above-normal temperatures are expected to continue over the next one to two weeks.
