The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory until 10 am along the Lake Erie shoreline of Chautauqua County, including Ripley, Westfield, Dunkirk, Fredonia and Silver Creek. South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph will cause strong cross winds along the Thruway corridor between Silver Creek. The strong winds will make for difficult travel conditions for high profile vehicles. Downed tree limbs and localized power outages are possible.
