Police identify victim of Jamestown fire

A 74-year-old man has died from smoke inhalation after fire broke out early Thursday morning in an apartment in the city of Jamestown. Acting Jamestown Fire Battalion Chief Tim Glenn says crews were called to the scene of the blaze at 21 Carey Place shortly after 1 am.  He says they found flames coming from the upper part of the structure and when firefighters were able to get inside, they discovered the victim on the second floor...

Jamestown Police have released the identity of the victim, Patrick Reilly. Reilly's body was taken to the Erie County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. Fire officials say a space heater placed too closely to combustibles apparently triggered the blaze.
