General weather system will approach area later tonight and Tuesday
Once the storm system moves through the area, some of the coldest air of the season will move in and kick off lake effect snow Tuesday night into Wednesday. Total snow accumulations of greater than 10 inches possible. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.
