Woman set on fire during domestic incident in Jamestown

A Jamestown woman suffered severe burns to her face, head and torso after a domestic incident where she was doused with a flammable substance and set on fire. Jamestown Police responded to the call at 210 Thayer Street around 11:30 pm Tuesday night. The victim was rushed to UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital and then immediately airlifted to ECMC in Buffalo. She is reported to be in critical condition. Police have charged the victim's husband, 37-year-old Luis Castro-Mojica, with assault in the first degree. Castro-Mojica was also wanted on three other domestic incident warrants. Police say additional charges are expected, and the investigation is continuing.
