Cattaraugus County Sheriff's deputies have made an arrest in connection with last weekend's fatal accident in the Town of Salamanca. Deputies charged 21-year-old Damion Taylor of Salamanca with one count of 2nd-degree manslaughter, and he is being held in the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail. The fatal crash occurred last Saturday on Old Route 17 at about 11:45 PM. The victim, who has been identified as 21-year-old Alexandrea Kindt of Salamanca, was ejected from the vehicle after it struck a tree. The investigation into the crash is continuing, and additional charges against Taylor are pending.
